Each entry says what the building is, how its shared rooms are arranged, and what is worth asking the hotel before you write. Everything here is drawn from open sources and checked against them. There are no prices, no ratings, no reservations and no sponsored places.

Entries are written from the hotels' own published pages, from mapping services and from published reporting. Where a detail could not be confirmed, it was rewritten so that the sentence stands without it, or left out. Nothing is invented, and no fault or story is attributed to a building on the strength of a single unsourced claim.

Winter buildings of snow and ice are treated separately, because they exist for one season and are raised again each year. Chain addresses are named in full so that the wrong branch is not booked. The method, the sources and the way to report an error are set out on how this is checked.
